great work!
From my experience, generally go for the physically largest cap you can get. Looking at what's available from mouser and referencing the Nichicon website, I'd choose the UCA series cap. It has high ripple current, low tangent of loss angle and long life.sonoman1979 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 23, 2017 3:06 pmHi,
I need to replace a couple of 47uf 450v aluminum electrolytic capacitor on the preamp section. Must be radial and no more than 18mm of diameter. I would like to know if anybody knows which series of Nichicon should be best for this application.
I'm planing to buy this on mouser.
Technical support on mouser told me that I should choose caps that offer more hours of life and high ripple current, is that correct?
Thanks.

Duke this sounds great, I think all of the different speakers you use in your samples are just variant flavors of it. You have definitely nailed the #36 tone! Congrats!
Dukeamp can you do some clip with these speakers Scumback M75 and Marshall 800 mod #34 ?
I have made this clip for you, i have never played this song before, but you should get an idea how the greenback clones sound.blacklabel wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2017 7:56 amDukeamp can you do some clip with these speakers Scumback M75 and Marshall 800 mod #34 ?
do you have a marshall with #34 mod?
i want to listen UYI tone with these greenback's clone
I think this sounds pretty darn good. The only issue I hear is that maybe the mic was clipping with your camera, or whatever you used to record it some, but the tone itself, and the character of the amp sounds pretty spot on. Nice job snakepit86!snakepit86 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 15, 2017 10:19 am
