This thing is awesome! It does a near perfect Who Knows, even though I don't have a perfect setup for it. Feeding it into the fuzz with the guitar volume and tone rolled back was the key. It kept the octave very pure without losing volume like you would normally when you back off the volume. I turned the tone to about 7/8 and the volume back till it gave me what I wanted. Some said it is too bright, but my roll back/fuzz method balanced it off, and even straight (no fuzzface) it wasn't that bright IMO. Nice Jimi octaving from ten up, and lots of cool tones below. Even worked ok on Major chords if i eliminated the low 5th, not like perfect octave, but a useable sound for a riff. It does a great BoG, and is servicable for Purple Haze as well, though it sounds almost to smooth for Purple Haze. Very smooth to my ears. I kept the fuzz knob on the Octavio at minimum and the Level at max, as Dunlop suggests, and for once, they got it right! They description of what the knobs do isn't that accurate, but its easy to figure them out.
Its not a bad buy either, I'd buy another if I needed to.
