Is it filler and paint in the pocket? I would either use sand paper or a razor blade to scrape off the filler and paint down to wood.scriptphase wrote:Love the guitars!
Sorry to hijack, but I need some help if possible and this seemed like a good thread to ask.
I've got a Locke Franky body and Musikraft Franky neck that were a tight fit for one another before painting. I sent the body to MJT and it came back with so much overspray in the pocket that the neck won't fit anymore. Is there a best technique to remove the excess filler/finish without removing any wood?
Thanks.rgorke wrote:Is it filler and paint in the pocket? I would either use sand paper or a razor blade to scrape off the filler and paint down to wood.
Or it may be a complete loss and send the whole thing to me for fire wood.![]()

Do we have any idea who has #0022?Strat78 wrote:I have both bodies, but the Kne body is a little closer to the Franky, though thats not saying much. Ideally, someone should convince the owner of the Azusa #0022 strat, to loan it to Musikraft or Kne for a truly authentic looking Franky body clone.
Callaham has different length adjustment screws.Tone Slinger wrote:The saddle screws on these vintage style tremolo's are radiused for vintage necks with the low and high E adjustment screws being shorter, A & B a tad longer and G & D being the longest(tallest saddle height capability). The Gotoh unit has the longest adjustment screws , I rob those for my other trems.
