JF, where are you buying your Blue Mountain from that its costing your $50 a pound. It is half that right now in the States. Seen it as high as $34/lb though.
Personal favorite coffee is full Kona, but will do a blended Kona if I must. Never had a smoother coffee than good Kona ground as espresso and double filtered as it brews. Add half & half or soy creamer and one scoop of turbinado sugar.
As for Whiskey, I am partial to Gentleman Jack, but Scotch is my favorite liquor and Glenfiddich is where it is at for Scotch.

I just quit too. Hardest thing I've ever had to do. Of course I had a little extra incentive. My doctor told me I have a 3 cm nodule on my left upper lung.mightymike wrote:I just quit smoking a week ago Friday
They don't know what it is yet (first biopsy was inconclusive) but since I've smoked for 28 years they're assuming it's cancer until they know otherwise.
Even if it is they caught it early so they'll just cut it out and that will be the end of it.
Did you just quit cold turkey or did you patch it? I'm using welbutrin and it seems to be doing the trick. Keeps me from murdering someone anyway

Mike
Never settle for an amp thats smaller then you are.

I hope everything turns out benign with your lung problem, and that you have many many healthy years ahead.
I quit Cold Turkey/No Patch, and boy is it hard.
Here's how I quit Ciggarettes:
The day I quit, I slept in till about 12:00 noon, then stayed up as long as I could take it
(till about 3:00Pm), then went back to sleep till the next day.
That was the only way I could make it through the first day, which is the biggest hurdle for me. After that it's gets easier each day.

Drink your coffee strong enough and it'll do that for ya too!!!I'm on day 8 of 14 of one of those whole body detox/flush programs right now

Not much help on the other stuff though....
Folgers here btw, the more acidic, the better!!!!
Although I do miss the gourmet coffees from the coffee houses when I was in college, great stuff!!!!!
Sorry to hear about the nodule BK, hope everything turns out well....
I am another idiot that needs to stop smoking.......Growing up here in tobacco country it was just short of outright encouraged!!!!! If you knew someone who didn't smoke, they were the exception.....
Let's get going, 'cause there's too much music, too little time!!!!

I likes my coffee like I likes my women - hot and black!
Seriously, the wifey sets me up with 3 or 4 shots of fresh ground organic french roast espresso (from costco - cheap) in my traveler cup every morning, hot and straight black
, gets me going, then I'm good for the day. Reminder to self: tell the wife I love her.
