I saw this video this morning. I totally agree with you. Although trying to tame a cobra might seem to be a good way to prove your masculinity, it also proves you are the biggest retard on Earth.

By Crikey I wish he would. Im all for studying these animals in the wild but when you start fucking with them for a camera shot I just wish one of these bigger dangerous snakes would tag one of them right in the face.

Ol Steve-o got some spitting cobra venom in the eyes once when he was messing with spitting cobras. Twas the reason he put on safety goggles in that scene.

The guy who was in the video I posted did some other show where he was trying to find a large anaconda in the Amazon river. He DID end up finding one and the way the show put it off was that it was his initial encounter with one. But as he grabbed the snake in the water and wrestled it around  The camera action was very similar to the 360 degree stop action camera shots that were initially seen in The Matrix. When I saw that show(the anaconda one) for the first time I couldnt help but laughing my ass off on how this was supposed to be his first ever encounter with an anaconda in the wild but then how does the camera do the Matrix 360 around the fight between man and giant snake?

Oh another thing. In real life when people get bit by snakes they usually 100% of the time kill the damn thing unless the snake was never seen when it bit whoever. These people only protect the snake cause they are on camera. They get a lethal dose of vemon and they are like Oh I got bit the little bugger bit me lets go to the hospital.

In realityland they would say something like "Oh fucking shit you bit me you fucker Hows that"!!! as the snake is stomped into hamburger.

Im no fan of Steve but you get the sense he knows what he's doing (as much as you can dealing with animals anyway) while this guy doesnt seem to know exactly what the hell he's doing and its more testosterone and machisimo with him and less respect for the animal and thats what happens. Steve doesnt seem to handle snakes as much or get in their face like that. I was waiting for a good face shot. He was trying with all he had to hold it together. He's like 'yeah he got me and what you have to do is...' like it was part of the friggin show and in the script.

Hey remember when Steve had his son in the Crocodile ring with him? Boy that was horrible! Could be even worse that the snake bite. However, the snake bite was funny and the baby incident is not!

Last time I came accross that show he was teaching his little girl to help rangling crocs. Actually Im pretty sure back in the day when Croc Hunter was blowin up there was some footage of him getting bit by a croc as well.
