I put it in an jmp 2204 and it is by far the best loop I ever had.
I made it on a small board (PTP) and place the tube on it too. I place the whole board ouside the chassis (inside the head) so I drilled no holles in Amp

Yeah, it's true, Larry did a swell job, so he can decide, who's gettin' his circuit.Marcel, could you post a pic of your outside loop box?
Thanks,
Cerf

Send me the photo to my email! Then I can decide this.

The fault almost always is sitting in front of the amp

Yeah I was curious too how people actually integrated this into their amps...

Looks good. Does it have an on/off switch? The schematic I got has a place for an on/off switch. I'm guessing it's a DPDT.

I was looking at going with a DPDT mini switch so I can turn the loop on and off.

Larry,

Are there any particular type/brand of caps/resistors you like to use in this loop?

No I use A/B box to make or break the loop, I use the loop as a solo boost with a delay in it. Works perfectly, and when I break the loop I dont hear any different when the remaining part of the loop are still in the signal chain!

No, no special recommendation from my side - but I'd recommend to continue with the cap/resistor types from your preamp section, to keep the character of the amp.

Great work! And an excellent idea, to leave the loop section outside of the chassis, but include it into the head shell :o

NICE. I have mine on two 5 pole turrets strips facing each other and then my amp already had the 4th tube socket (for once in my life I had foresight) but your annex idea is awesome. maybe condense it and box it.
