sorry you guys dont like my style of boxing tubes and tape ...pity because i have a near perfect shipping record from austin to sydney to greenland to oahu. norway to your wayi generally will use priority boxes due to there tensel strength .it cost me about 1 dollar to tape the shit out of a box i cut the length down, according to the manifest .if you look at military packages they are always taped in that fashion the tape is usually followed by some bubble wrap and then taped again.these tubes are expensive, tape and boxes are not .ive gotten tubes loose in an envelope ive seen them over done with popcorn that didnt protect jack shit .start shippin glass around the globe and watch what your conventional martha stewart candy ass wrap will get you from the 600 pound customs agent in france .or the baggage handler who takes pride in his demo work with a straight edge.when i cut a box it contours the contents then alot of pressure taping.hell that box could of been drop kicked to your front door and your bulbs wouldnt be bruised .now who wants to step out back and get taped up first !!! i approach guitar the same way...my way no ones complained about it arrg now back to my cave ........

No complaints here - whatever it takes for it to arrive in one piece.tubetramp wrote:sorry you guys dont like my style of boxing tubes and tape ...

The extra tape does multiply the anticipation factor, though, if you don't have a razor knife handy...

Keep on doin' what yer doin' tt.

hmmm
I appreciate the hard work that TT puts into his packaging. He sent me a PT and a OT and a Choke. It took me 35 minutes to get to the trannies. But in the end the trannies were nice and safe. Not a dent or mark on them anywhere. I can only imagine how much of his valuable time he spent taping up the box. He is aces when it comes to packaging. Now if he'll only send me those switches that go with my trannies like he said he would.
I feel I can very comfortably order tubes from TT and they will be perfect on delivery. Thanks TT for taking care of us. USPS and UPS are hell on earth for packages.

I think my postal carrier, or somebody at USPS hates me. I ordered some tubes from Terry, was glad to see that packaging job, and horrified to see two of the quad of Shuguangs and one of the 12ax7's decimated. Something really serious must've happened to that box for the contents to be that damaged the way it was packed. Now I'm in the process of waiting for the replacements that Terry so graciously sent, and it's been a couple of weeks and still nothing. Thanks USPS. You rule.
