here's the deal i bought a 300 watt power amp barely 15 days ago and i've burnt it out well leds on front ain't behaving right mains led is dim then goes bright and protection lights usually turn on at startup for a second and go off now they ain't turning on atall lol it's funny, i have had the amp on nearly 14hrs a day and 15 days later it conks out lmao typical. never buy anything new

phoned the guy up and he said if the amp still produces sound it's ok so i am thinking to myself aye right, so i am leaving as it is, i got a years warranty so if anything goes wrong it's going back straight away!

Another thing youth of today don't know much about good tone, i got a mate who is really into metallica cliff burton. My mate wants the mesa 400 tube bass head and i am going to myself aye right where are you gonna be able to play that thing at it's best potential also the cost how can he afford that amp and how can he afford tubes with the high plate voltages and the amount of tubes to buy. I tried to convince him to go to a marshall super bass style stack 2x15 and 4x12 loaded with 55hz speakers but he is being an awkward shite by wanting gallien and shite end gear. don't get me wrong gallien might be good but there is no room for experimentation what you see is what you get and it is a bitch to get parts for. I was speaking to the boys father i was speaking to him about what his son wants etc and i found out what gear he has, a vintage wem 2x15 that he wants to mod by ripping grill cloth etc and replacing with mesh and that wem is in original condition and i basically told his father that destroying that wem is a bad idea. so i am trying to convince the boy to get an empty 2x15 made out of mdf or something and keep that wem good. He has an h/h combo the same amp i have but mine is a head and he is complaining that his ain't loud enough but my 1 was bloody loud, so i went looking at his speakers and they were replaced with dual cones so i said look part of your bass problem is the fact that those speakers are dual cones and well a bass with active electronics is giving it too much, so we are getting new bass speakers for the h/h and i am keeping the boy on the straight and narrow with that wem cab HE IS NOT DOING ANYTHING WITH IT!!!! because if you go forward you can't go back!
