i personally am enjoying the new album, it's good to hear from the boys. it sounds enough like rush & still has enough twists & turns to be new. i think they know what their fans want & are trying to supply a little of the old with a little of the new. i will always remember my first concert 3rd row rush(farewell to kings),ufo(lights out),max webster. quite loud!

I wouldnt say I liked them Better than Rush.

--SETLIST SPOILER--
Just saw them last night... AWESOME as always.
Alex was all Les Paul all night, except "Which Way the Wind Blows" was the Howard Roberts, and he brought out the old 355 for the encores. And those Hughes & Kettners do sound pretty good - two Triamp stacks + two Switchblade stacks. Geddy brought out his Ricky for "Passage to Bangkok".
The new stuff is great live, and they played some old favorites off Permanent Waves, including "Entre Nous" which I don't think they've ever done live. Al's gotten pretty adept at switching from a 12-string acoustic on a stand back to his LP without missing a beat.
"Circumstances" sounds pretty cool in D standard tuning.

The Rush concert here in Columbus, Ohio was OUTSTANDING!!!
These guys didn't miss a beat, Alex nailed every solo, Neil was perfect and Geddy Lee made playing the bass look as easy as walking your dog.
As Miquel mentioned these guys had some very pleasant surprises
Alex changed Les Pauls after every song except towards the end of the night.
One thing I did notice was that alot of His Les Pauls had an extra 1/4" jack
and he was running two cables out on the majority of the songs they played.
Definite songs I did not expect to hear were-
Passage to Bangkok and WitchHunt from Moving Pictures album
They did YYZ for the encore.....AWESOME
I'll post some killer close up pics in a day or so.

Yes - he had several of the LPs and his Howard Roberts Fusion retrofitted with piezo bridges.T.J.Fuller wrote:One thing I did notice was that alot of His Les Pauls had an extra 1/4" jack

I sure like mine. I've had several people ask where the acoustic player was hiding.
