Is anyone here an F1 fan? I sure am, I cut practice short tonight due to the practice session being repeated on speed at 10pm my time. Man, I love that stuff.

Uhh... not F1, but NASCAR and NHRA. Feel free to start the white-trash jokes any minute.

Hey Billy,

I don't watch too much TV but I have to say Carnivale(HBO) is pretty cool.

5150loveeddie,

Jacques did a lot for BAR but what he got in return was a lot of bad press if you know what I mean. We'll see how he does with Sauber.

Country Boy Shane,

I'm into drag racing also, not so much for the NASCAR scene, I feel it's not really "stock" car racing anymore. I do enjoy late modle dirt track racing though.

As an old-school hot rodder I love drag racing (I confess I'm not much for Top Fuel/Alcohol dragsters and such, gimme the "run whatcha brung" mentality.) But Nascar is like football, it puts me to sleep. If I wanted to take a nap I'd just go take a nap.
What branch of car racing is F1? Is that the stuff I see with imports running a course in the snow, etc.?? Looks like fun even if it ain't classic Detroit iron....but I'd feel bad sliding classic iron off the course anyway......

Here is a link to the F1 site. http://f1.racing-live.com/ If you look at the top you will see WRC. I think this is what your talking about with the cars in the snow. It's Rally car racing, Very cool stuff also.

Aaahh....if you'd typed out "Formula One" I would have understood right off the bat......hadn't heard it shortened to F1 before, but again, not my main area of interest.

Flames don't scare me like that!!!!!!!!lol

F1 is like the ultimate in car racing, well the top on the list for drivers, it is mostly a little boring since Mr. Ferrari Michael Shumacker is winning all the damn time since 2000, but hey there's a Canadian Jacques Villeneuve who won the word championship in 1997, the same one who won the indy car championship in 1995 and won the Indy500 that same year, but since 1997 he didn't do much because of his piece of shit car BAR.........Anyway who cares now hey!!?? LOL

Rally racing is really cool. I got to watch one last year up close. We have a sanctioned rally race out here every year and those little 4 bangers with 300hp kick ass. Lots of cars rolling, taking corners real fast on dirt roads.
