Ok, I'm just a sleazy copycat!

SLP - Ralle spec (99%), guitar straight in amp, straight in cab - no loadbox, no comp, no reverb, no nothing. Just played along the original right after late night soldering, so forgive my playing!

See, what you think - I'm going to put my flamesuit on...

great job josse, the sound & playing are very nice. when you say "ralle spec" do you mean the new one or the old one?

The playing is great. Fantastic!
The amp sounds like it's missing some sizzle. Sounds a little dark is all.
Could be as simple as a different speaker or mic placement...
Something's missing though....
If there's no quiet, there can be no loud.

Playing is Excellent!! Well done!!
The tone is cool but is missing something. If I had to guess, Methinks that it would be that you don't have the right guitar.
With that said, What speakers are you using? That has a lot to do with it as well.
All the best!

Sounds a little stiff. Not chewy like ralles. It's your great playing that makes it sound like the record!

Josse excellent playing man! I liked your playing even better than your Eruption clip, esp the first half of the song. That is the hardest song to play along to from that albulm, period. Maybe if you had panned the right side over about 10-15% like Ralle's clips, it would have sounded much more blended, but I am sure you knew that being an AE. Sounds like your amp has more gain! What EQ settings did you use? Was this at full gain?

Holy crap people, can everyone play like Eddie around here except me? I wasn't expecting dead on playing.......great playing!
As for the tone its really close but a bit stiff, it doesn't have the spring board, gooey bounce that evh is known for......but I guarantee you that if you couldn't pull off the licks people would be saying it sounds nothing like it......you have the hands bro.

Much better. Awesome! I Perhaps the darkness in tone is due to heavy sting gage or the pickup not being angled or perhaps back off on the bass a bit more? f you added more pinching and slight muffling here and there, your VH riffage would be perfect.
