Marshall Super Lead Amp 7026 "The Dickheadson amp"
Marshall Super Lead Amp 7451
Marshall Super Lead Amp 10032
Marshall Super Lead Amp 10045
Marshall Super Lead Amp 10590
Marshall Super Lead Amp 12361

Is this for real? If so that would reinforce a certain nurses claim with the black flag amp. Wouldn't 10032 10045 10059 be Black flag amps? :?

I have the "Electric Gypsie" book that lists serial numbers from a receipt. But those were all later amps. The missing piece of evidence here is the prefix.

There's a big difference date wise between:

SL/A 10XXX

SL/ 10XXX

I'll have to dig the book out and see what they list.

The 7XXX numbers are obviously early, aluminum chassis.

Blues geetar, this certain nurse does indeed claim that Black Flags are central to the early to mid Jimi sound, yet no one else seem to have picked up on that. With a Fuzz face and the right vintage Strat, it's all there. I don't have my JTM BF serial #,yet Jimi had at least one, multiple pics and he used it live, where is that head, who cares about the Dickhead amp  .....

Note the bass tone control knob, the cap is missing in all the pictures where it is visible, this is as much evidence as Dickhead publishes for his claims.

Where did I get those? That Italian mag called Univibes. I don't have the mag but it listed those S/N on their website for the current magizine.

http://www.univibes.com/currentissue.html

Nice photos as always bud. I think I am seeing the recipe finally. I remember you said you had that Trower Hotlicks video right? Robin seemed to swear by using two amps going at the same time also. One clean and one OD'd. I got that Trower video also. hmmmm Where does one find those Y splitter cables? Also noticed that HEndrix has got miles of thse curly cables going on. hmmmmmm

I also remember reading a interview with Keith Richards where he stated that the only way to record is with two amps. he said he recorded with the Tweed Twin and a Tweed champ going at the same time. Then adjust the incoming signals from the two amps mics mixed to your taste. So I am thinking, maybe this is the way the pros do it? hmmmm

Love that! :D and the fact that Marshall amps took the dick's amp amd made it a Jimi Hendrix issue amp JH100.

Still...where are those Marshalls in the pic with JH playing a Les Paul?

Blues geetar, I only posted the Trower vids from Youth Tube, I don't have his Hot Licks video.
Using two stacks is an olde trick from the seventies, cool that you discovered this though, having different settings gives you a full mix, this before the amp switching/rack days, pre-Pete Cornish, ect. :D

Toner, lol, the Crate was a killer tone and was my travel amp. the Quadraverb I got from Gary Moore's stage setup.
Do you also see my original MXR Flanger in the picture, great tone there and an interesting story behind that effect, which I also sold of course  .
