Epi "Lucille"???

Post by NY Chief » Fri Oct 12, 2007 1:57 pm

Stopped in Sam's Ass last night (killing time on the way to a bike club meeting).

They had an Epi "Lucille" 355 copy on the wall. Not bad, but I noticed it had no "f" holes. It sounded semi hollow. There was an Epi 335 next to it and that had the standard "f" holes. Weird...

BB's Gibson "Lucille" models don't have the f-holes either.

don't bother with epi, made in China and the quality is in the shitter. If you are looking to get a blues guitar like that get the Gibson one, it really makes a difference.

I was a guitar tech at a store back in the early '90's. A blues Kat brought one in for adjustment's. It had the Florentene's but it also had a Kahler Whammy...
