Thanks for the info. I understand what your saying, I would imagine the scalloping does affect those chords where you use the little hammer on and pull offs ala "Little wing". Regardless, you get GREAT 100 % awesome strat tones out of it ! The concensus online also affirms those strats great sound.

Keep the clips comin Carl ! I'd like to hear some more clips with you using the 'Axis Fuzz'. I agree with you on the fact that Hendrix was using that circuit on BOG's. It has that drive and attack like he got back when Roger first modded his Fuzz Face. Like on that 'Drivin' South' tune. Different amp type tone, but the fuzz sounds very similar.

The Reinhardt Vintage-100. A 100 watt version of his Vintage 50.
Yes, a Plexi clone. It has a vintage/modern switch in the back for split or shared cathode operation.

Only Axis clip I has is Fire I did with the VM and the Axis Fuzz.

I'm not so sure the Axis as RM sells it is the BOG sound. IMO, Jimi had maybe some variation of it.
Currently, I think the Tone Bender 2 -knob version gets a great Hendrix sound. That's what's on the Machine Gun, a Throbak Stone Bender.
