I dont know what your looking at but theyre $9-$14 a set. Maybe you just quickly looked at the bass sets or flatwounds. Even EB bass sets can cost that much.

I've tried once to order some sets of the Snakes, but then got this:
Hi Larry,
We've had problems with fake strings over in your country so until they stop being sold I am not in any position to sell to German customers. Maybe in the hopefully near future we will have a distributor in Germany.
I've inquired once again and got this:
Hi Larry,
There was a guy over in Germany (my former distributor some 10-11 years
ago) who is selling strings that he claimed I designed and he also
stole the string brand's artwork too without so much asking me for any
permission, royalties, etc. So now we have a sitruation where there are
two of me walking around via a couple of Internet retailers and after I
just got written up in GP I don't want any more confusion with who did
what in the past. I think that eventually this person will stop doing
this activity as it really makes him look stupid (especially NOW with
the recent write-up and some additional articles in GP too). So until
he stops using ny brand names and real name) to sell fake strings like
this I will not sell to Germany. God knows how much money he has made
off of my name! This only hurts the market over there in Germany and I
wish I had the proper means to stop this legally but that would cost
far too much money and this is the problem with me sending strings over
to Germany.
Best regards,
Dean Farley
Once again inquired and got this:
Hi Larry,
Paypal didn't block your payment I refunded it myself. Where in Germany
do you live? There is a possibility of getting strings still so "it
isn't over until the fat lady sings" you know?
Best regards,
Dean Farley
I've told him, where I live in Germany, my complete shipping address - but never have heared back from him yet :(

Larry
The fault almost always is sitting in front of the amp

Pyramids are the shit. Every time I put a new set on I say damn, forget pickups these are what its about. The classic rock tone is right here.

I've been using Snake Oils for a couple of years now, I prefer the Rock XL sets.

Outstanding strings IMO, I won't use any other string.

I'm really digging my SOB Vintage strings. I tried a couple of different brands of pure nickel strings (John Pearse, DR, GHS, etc. but I haven't tried the Pyramids though) and the SOB's are my favorites. Like their feel, sound and they intonate well.

My only complaint (and as I see I'm not the only one with that problem) is that after I've sent my order I have to wait, wait, wait, send an email then I finally get them. But otherwise, SOB are a good deal for me because I don't have access to many good strings around where I live. So with SOB's, I get fine strings, shipped to my door free of taxes (which is 12,875% here).
