Pickup Phasing Issue?

Post by gutpile » Mon Dec 03, 2007 8:59 pm

Here is my issue... I currently have a Fralin Bridge and a Skatterbrane Neck in my Les Paul... When I play in the middle position, my guitar is much quieter with the both volumes dimed than if I have the toggle switch set for the Bridge or Neck position. If I roll back a c-hair on either volume, while in the middle position, my volume returns... I THINK that I am experiencing and out of phase situation? I get some cool tones but I want it back to the way it was (in the middle position) before I changed PUPs... (unfortunately, I am not Peter Green) If I am out of phase, I THINK I need to switch a magnet around? Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks in advance for your help...

Mike

By your description it sure sounds like they are OOP. Wether the magnets are OOP with each other, or if they are wired OOP I don't know.
