And now for this year's Janie Award for the most tasteless, classless new product of the year.... Jimi Hendrix Vodka! :x
Guaranteed to make you choke on your own vomit.

WOW..... I did not know that she had released that. What a wh*re. I guess that's why why many a legacy is ruined by commercialisation. I wonder if its any good?

She didn't release that Jimi brother did. Janie is suing them to stop it.

So she isn't as evil as I thought. I still don't care for her, but I suppose the fact that she has taken legal action means something.

On the other hand Jimi's brother was written out of the will and I would bet that he just needs to make a quick buck.

Note to self, don't allow greedy family members to use your name for profit, haunt the shit out of them till they go away.

Sorry for hijacking the thread,

Nobody has done a decent job for Jimi's legacy imo, as in life, so afterwards in death, Jimi is victimised by unscrupulous grave robbers.
Carl, Alan Douglas is a whoremonger from way back and his 'disco' rhythm sectioned chop ups of Jimi's stuff, even though I bought them, it is pretty bad.
Janie and crew, it's like Death Row records "Suge Knight" as manager or something.
It is a shame and a sin what's happened, though I did buy some of those 'heavy vinyl' reissues they put out a while ago  8) !
Look at the way they treated Jesus Christ, Yngwie called Jimi the Jesus of rock guitar, and that he was...a prophet who spread love and a message to us of peace for mankind and to disregard race, politics, ect.
So for this type of PC treatment of Jimi's estate is naff..
Merry Christmas Jimi and to all, lets make it great in '08.. :D :D

They do! They just have other standard gauges too.

That's cool then! The Fender 150 sets in those gauges are not easy to find except online.

I ran out of Snake Oil Strings the other day (my preferred brand), and picked up a set of the Hendrix strings, not because of the Jimi name on them, but because of their claim to be vintage style strings.

I gotta say, I really liked them. They are my back up string now.
