Post by bluze81 » Thu Jan 31, 2008 4:58 pm

While digging thru some old pickups I had forgotten about I found an older humbucking[Gibson] its a T top but is a zebra color, all orig, I have never seen one, generally these were all black coils if I recall, it needs a rewind, any you guys ever see a T top humbucker like this? who is doing rewinds these days? thanks

Post a pic, sir! I think Wolfe MacLeod of Wolfetone still does rewinds, as well as Lindy Fralin. I like Wolfe's work better than Lindy's, more PAF-ish IMO.

I've never seen one like that. Are you sure it's a Gibson? Does it have the pat. no. sticker on the bottom?

Dave Stephens also does rewinds: www.sdpickups.com
$75 for a whole humbucker.
