Nice bro!

The one that I scored is pretty quiet. What intrigued me is how different the songs sounded. The mix seemed way better. I think I need a new needle though, I've put a lot of miles on it.

Not to mention that Red House sounds completely different, it must be a different take or something.

Now...on to Axis and Electric Ladyland!

I used to have a studio version of Red House with a big Fuzz Face solo tone, really thick and huge - is that the one you have? I remember it fondly.

In my Red House the lyric at one part is changed to...

I might as well a go on back down
Go back across yonder over the hill
Might as well go back over yonder
Way back over yonder across the hill

Also the guitar has a different sound, not more fuzzed, almost cleaner, with a more glassy breakup.
The track list is:
Side 1
Foxy Lady
Manic Depression
Red House
Can You See Me
Love or Confusion
I Don't Live Today
Side 2
May This Be Love
Fire
3rd Stone From the Sun
Remember
Are You Experienced

I think that the track listing on the American release subbed in Purple Haze instead of Red House. Can You See Me replaces Hey Joe, and Remember replaces Wind Cries Mary. Mine is the English release.

I know that version well. It's killer. IIRC the cover is like a filmstrip with Jimi's face in it...

Mine is the one from the Backtrack series, Backtrack 10 I think.

It's a brown cover with a yellow label in the upper right corner. Very heavy vinyl, weighs twice as much as my Rory Live in Europe.

Yeah, its my new favourite version of Red House.

Its definately worth it, if your really into Hendrix. Manic Depression (among others) on this recording sounded sooo present: my drummer said it was like Mitch was in the room with us.
