I feel like such a dork even sitting here wondering why that song seems to work...

That does NOT mean that I wanna hear Zep do a cover of "I Wanna Hold Your Hand", though.

That's ok, I have the full bootleg of the LA forum show that they culled most of HTWWW from and they do "Slow Down" in the WLL medley...not sure if it made it into the actual HTWWW release...I've only heard the Beatles and Zebra do this tune.

Yeah, I had their first two albums (not even sure if they made anymore) back in the 80s...I think they were the band that made me think I could pull off a Plant falsetto...."Tell me what you waaaaaaaaaaant"

I was really jazzed for Randy and the guys when they finally got their deal with Atlantic (?) but they never really had a stage show. Saw them with Aerosmith at the Coliseum and I just wanted to tell eveybody to shut up and listen to 'em. I used to see them all the time at Speaks.

Zebra played my Fraternity's spring party/concert in Oswego NY during the Spring of 88. I transported the band back and forth from the airport, really nice guys. It was awesome listening to Randy warm up backstage - his voice was incredible a capella .

Played that afternoon for us and flew back to play a gig on Long Island that night. Now I'll have to dig up that vinyl tonight.

I recently got a couple Zebra CD's. All their great songs...

Wait until the Summers Gone
Bears
The La-La song

great stuff

Oh yeah, and when they played Zep...get the fuck out! Only Rat Race Choir could challenge that.

There's s story that says when Physical Graffitti came out they learned all four sides in a weekend. I never asked Randy about it. I think he's got something new coming out, too.
