Problems with Shinrock transformers !! ??

i paid two sets of RSel84 clone transformers for a 1974x and 2061x marshall amps (as the stock ones keep on blowing up . already 4x 2061x and 4x 1974x !!) , nearly two month ago and i have no answer from Ingo Gorges for nearly a month nor have received my transformers !
i really wonder what he's doing especialy as he said he posted the transformers the 24th of january from Germany and i still have no news of them (whereas i'm in Francce !!) nor any answer to my emails !
it seems he has some problems with his company as it was written he would close his company on the website but would still be winding some transformers.
i really begin to loose patience !

I read on his website a few months ago that his little daughter has cancer, that's why he closes his company. I don't know him personally, but I guess if you're in a situation like this, you won't care much about winding transformers...

sure but his daughter was already ill when he accepted the order and he said it would be ready for mid january when i first asked.
then , just before i paid and placed the order, he confirmed it would be ready for mid january !
i paid about 600 $ for two transformers sets the 9th of january and i still have nothing !
he was not obliged to accept my order if he was thinking it would be too difficult to deal with this.

i'm sorry for him and his daughter, sincerly , but i'm also sorry for me as i have two opened amps for several weeks, and no transformers to showcase the amps i build/customise nor to use them for recording (as i can't use big amps for the moment) !!

in the end, i loose time, money (as i might be obliged to order some others if i don't get them) and maybe customers !

not really cool !

the last time he answered me, it was the 24th of january saying he shipped the two sets in the morning; he's in germany, i live in france, it ususaly takes a week, sometimes two but not more !
since i have no answer to my emails !

Considering the personal issues he's having, I'd politely say that you appreciate his situation, but you'd like a prompt refund so you can go elsewhere. I don't want to stick up for him, but if one of my kids was that sick, I wouldn't be worried about much else. Plenty of sources for good iron. He needs to focus on his family right now. Bummer that you have waited so long for the transformer, but he's not going to be very sympathetic to you right now because he has much bigger problems on his mind. Good luck to both of you!

what about the 600$ + i paid and the two months i lost !!!!
he barely answers my emails and doesn't seem to be trying to find a solution for all that !!
he was not obliged to accept my order and i asked him two times before i placed my order and paid , when i would get them !!
i've been polite, patient (more than two months i paid !!!) but now i think it's enough; i call that lack of repect !
when i'm not able to deal with something; i don't do it or at least i try to find a solution cause i'm not responsible for his problems (although i understand it must be difficult) and i think i've been quiet cool and patient for a while.

I've had same problems with Shinrock. I successfully ordered two OT's for 18watters. Over a year ago I ordered custom Power transformer and normal 18watt OT for D'lite and paid them. For a month nothing happened and I send email.
He replied that he was sorry it had taken so long and that trannies were sent yesterday (this was march 7, 2007).
I live in Finland so Germany isn't very far.
I have sent emails every now and then, askin politely to answer my emails. I've asked for refund and asked if I could have some other products he might have ready. No answer or trannies yet.

Still waiting, hopefully get them someday.

i finaly received some transformers !
better later than never but i have to say he has a strange way to deal with his orders !
what i don't understand is that he said he sent them the 26th of january but i received them last week (april !) and when i checked the stamp, i saw it was sent just a few days ago !
