well, i just sent funds for one of his "brown sounds" F-spaced. pretty much a hot paf a2 it seems. hopefully it will sound interesting in the korina hollow strat. i'll post when it comes.

Dude, I have a 10K A2 of is that is utterly killer for screaming Gary Moore tones. I was eyeballing that 9K as well..........

Did you get her yet, Thanks for posting this I went over to there site and gave that pup a listen damn at bad at all! Sounds like these guys know there stuff, was wondering if you get her yet and you liked her for 100 or 90.00 well worth giving her a go

Right on man thanks!!! whats the turn around order wait a week or so?? I was pretty impressed with the tone from that guys clip over on there site clean sounding bell like puppy with lots of harmonic overtones!!

Mine is on the way I couldnt resist for the money, had a killer tone to her we shall see how she holds up in a hard ash played through a 2204

It was that or Sh-PG1 pretty much same price why not have her hand wound to specs of brownage tonages!

i thought you might have introduced his work here. mine should be in today or tomorrow. usps is quick. i'm going to record it & the evh78 in the same guitar for comparison if i get a chance. i think it will be a TKO if what i've heard is true.

I emailed him with questions a few weeks back. I was thinking of trying him out, mostly for a set of strat pups. Im happy with the WCRs I have. It aint broke... But Ive always had a hard time with strat pups. My strat demands are pretty strait forward. 70s Jimi. Low output and clear as a bell. I may try him yet.

he's cool. he might have some good ideas for the strat. i believe he lurks here occasionally. i got the pickup yesterday. i recorded a crappy sample with the existing evh78 in my new korina strat, then switched in the smits. i immediately heard alot more high end detail. i will try to post the clips, but they just don't sound very good recorded at a whisper. i think we have discussed this, the speakers just aren't moving at that volume. i move the mic's around, (was also trying my new fathead ribbon, 57 on the left & fathead on the right.)but the sound in the headphones is just not smooth or sweet like it sounds in the room. i may put them up anyway just for research purposes!
