Tele GAS...
I'm GASsing for a Telecaster at the moment, and I've been eyeing up the Highway One Tele and the Highway One Texas Tele. Anyone have experience with this guitar or have any recommendations? It's USA made for a good price.
I think I'm going to stop at GC tomorrow and play one.

Nice guitars IMHO. Word of caution, the finish is not "real" nitro, outside of that, they are fine.

I got one (Highway 1) and can't be happier... I buffed the shit out of the finish (with an electric car polisher) and really got it to shine, then equipped a Will Ray b-bender and threw in some Fralins and an RS Kit... pure rock and roll
... plays outstanding and the neck is among the best tele's I've played! can't beat the price! great guitar! here are some pics...

Both of these are very nice Teles. The Texas Tele is swamp ash, and has higher output pickups. If you want twang, thatmwm523 wrote:I'm GASsing for a Telecaster at the moment, and I've been eyeing up the Highway One Tele and the Highway One Texas Tele. I just did this the other day. very awesome.

But: I have to put you on double secret probation for adding such a lump of metal to the simple beauty of the Telecaster !
BTW: That

I used the stewmac tele bridge for like $30. I then used a dremel to grind down the back so the strings wouldn't touch.
It works well. The saddles have to be up high to get good string pressure and neck angle needs to be changed a tad but thats not really a problem.
I need to slice off the excess intonation screws aswell since when its properly intonated there is like 2 inches poking out or something. Its on such a big angle because of the saddle height that they are above the string height.
