VOS Les Paul Junior in the house

Post by jfhudak » Tue Apr 29, 2008 3:16 pm

Hey Fellers,

Well, it's official: I'm definitely a mahagony guy. First the Explorer, then the SG, and now I scored a VOS Les Paul Junior in TV Yellow.

All I can say is this thing is BAD ASS! I love P-90s!!!!! Honk for days, and it just roars like you wouldn't believe. I swear, these all-mahagony planks were made for Super Leads. This amp never sounded so good.

Best part is, they cost a helluvalot less than an R9!!

Pics to follow soon. . .

Peace ;)

Johnny

the juniors are under-appreciated if you compare them to the HB guitars

The Les Paul Junior is just as important historically to the sound of blues/rock as the Les Paul Standard imo and cheaper too.
My old '54 Junior was acoustically so loud it sounded like it was already plugged in. :D

LP juniors rule - I've got a MIJ Epi LP jr that just screams and has that vibrant acoustic quality that most single pickup guitars seem to have.

Epis are good guitars. I have played a few that just flat out surprised the hell out of me.

"Vibrant acoustic quality" is a great way to describe it.

Im gassing for a hamer korina specil. I ordered a tokai lss175/195 (high end LP special) 7 months ago. I seems that it will take a few months more before it will be delivered. the quality, specs (honduran mahogny etc) and price is very good. the waiting time for the high end models ain't that good

Yes, the single P-90 Jrs. are absolutely super guitars and way under-rated.
