My man!daniel wrote:I scored one of these for $300 out the door at guitar center today and the amp was brand new. They aren't the same as the originals at all but they are one of the best sounding low power tube combos I've played in a while, especially for the price tag. They are definitely deserving of a 600 price tag. I'll pull the chassis and start a thread with some pics pretty soon.

sorry to disapoint, but i didn't end up with it. I was going to be the typical irresponsible guitar player and put it on the credit card, but for some reason I got rejected, which is weird becasue I have pretty good credit and I've never been rejected for a card before. Unfortunately right now I really need to spend money on some more important things (also saving up for a superbass kit) If anyone wants a good deal on one of these things the boston guitar center has a used one for 299. I'd still love a chasis pic if someone finds one.

Please note the file has changed since that file was first posted. There was also a mistake in the original schematic.

they're fun amps to play. I changed the mallory tone caps to sozos in mine(there's only two) and it brought out more clarity in the mids. For awile I had a weber alnico signature in it but decided i liked the headroom of the original speaker more(it still gets pretty compressed at full volume, especially for having a ceramic speaker and ss recto). I have been itching to try it with a larger cab lately though. I just need to know how to safely get the rca speaker out adapted to a 1/4in cable.
