Tone cap values for fat strat?

Well you can work it out yourself using passive filter circuits.
There are two, Passive Bass cut, and passive treble cut.

So you can just guess values according to what frequencies you want to cut.
Here is a really shoddy diagram.

The equation you will need is 1/2(pi)RC and this gives the break frequency where the frequencies start getting cut.

Just as an estimate, id say maybe have the break frequency of 440 (same as 5th fret high E string) you would need a 10uF cap and a 36 ohm resistor, and then you can always just mess around with values.

And then just wire that up between the pickup and the pickup selector (if its a standard strat wiring)

Hmm, im just thinking that maybe it will be too much of an agressive cut.

its basically just set up like a hardwired tone knob.

ah well, i suppose it would be retty cool to experiment with.
