Due to the economy, I will be living in/working in Mexico for the next 6 months to a year. Not what I wanted to do but I think it is my best option at this point. The company that I work for opened a plant there and I have the opportunity to go. Anyway, I will be in SLP (San Luis Potosi) and I am wondering if anyone knows what the cost of guitars is down there. I really don't want to take one when I go as I will have plenty of other crap to take. If they are not too expensive, I will just buy one while I am there and add it to the collection. Anyone have any insight? It is nowhere near Enscenada so I can't go dumpster diving behind the Fender plant.
Thanks,
Dennis

Re: Going to Mexico and want to buy a guitar while there
I guess I will have to report back to everyone what I find down there. I guess it would stand to reason that people generally don't go TO Mexico to buy a guitar. They normally go there for vacation, medical reasons or donkey shows.
