.5 Cap for the Power Board

Post by jfhudak » Wed Feb 04, 2009 11:50 pm

Hey Fellers,

Where did y'all get the cap for the power board? I noticed on a couple of the pics that the cap was not there.

The closest I can find from Sozo is .47 or .56. Does this cap have an effect on tone or can I just grab one from Radio Shack?

Thanks! I'll post pics of my progress tomorrow!

Hey Steve,

Cool! You wouldn't be willing to part with any would you? I only need one. Hey, I PM'd you awhile back and didn't hear back. Everything okay?

The amp is coming together, I just got the power board wired up last night, save the one cap.

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. Getting ready for another surgery so everything has been upside down. No problem on that cap if you want it. I have a few left.

No worries! Sorry to hear you are having surgery, I hope it is nothing serious.

How much do you want for the cap? I can PayPal you the money for that. I haven't gotten the sticker yet so just ship them both together.

PM me and I'll get you squared away.

Thanks!

The original value was .05uf. I suggest a Sozo .047uf here.

Hey George,

Thanks! I talked to Fido yesterday and he told me that there was a typo in one of the diagrams I was using. I have that value Sozo, so we're square.

Steve,

Thanks for the offer man! Hey, I never did get that sticker I paid for. You gonna send that my way?

Thanks again, Fellers!
