This is a pretty cool throwdown. Only siad Japanese Jimmy Page because of how the guy holds his body while playing reminded me of Page.

Dan, It's called a Shamisen. 3 Stringed Lute.

The shamisen is a 3-string lute. It is believed to be a variant of the Okinawan sanshin. The length of the shamisen varies from 1.1 to 1.4 meters.
