I tried ceramic, pio and mustards in my strat (cp60s) and found that the pio caps made it sound dull or muffled, smooth but no sparkle. I really like the mustards in there, I tried 0.015, 0.022, 0.033, 0.047 and 0.1uf and liked the 0.033uf the best in there.
The change is subtle but definitely there.
Not necessarily stoned..but beautiful...

I spoke to the owner of SOZO, very friendly guy, the type of guy I like to actually learn from...anyway he said that if you stick one of his .022 Vintage Mustards in a LP type guitar that it will sound real good and that it has gotten rave reviews on Les Paul Forum.

I currently have .022 Sozo Vintage caps in my Les Paul and I like them very much.

I hear that WIMA MP3-Y2's are good substitutes for the original bumblebees. Haven't tried it myself but they're cheap enough to experiment with.
