Need help on JTM45 PT mounting
I got a MM JTM45-RI-P transformer. These mercury PT's have a slightly different mounting center 2 1/2" x 3 1/8" vs 3" x 3 3/4" for my chassis. Does anyone know of any available mounting brackets?

Re: Need help on JTM45 PT mounting
The PT is supposed to drop through the chassis. I had understood that the usual MM PT for a JTM45 fits straight into the metro chassis as the metro chassis is the same as the original 60's JTM45 (are you using a metro chassis or someone elses?).
IIRC the JTM45 RI has a different (smaller) cut-out and I seem to remember it being mounted at 90degrees to the orientation of an original so maybe Mercury Magnetics offer a tranny for the RI and that is the one you have- did you stipulate that you wanted a transformer for a traditional chassis or RI?
Have you offered yours up against your chassis yet? If it drops through and covers the holes from above you could buy an alloy 'plexi' mounting plate that might help cover the holes from below. Failing that you would have to swap your PT for one that fits or get creative with some alloy sheet
