RIP Les Paul

Post by fillmore nyc » Thu Aug 13, 2009 12:51 pm

Heard the unfortunate news today that guitar legend, innovator and all around cool individual Les Paul has passed. No doubt music as we know it would be very different had we not had his contributions, and for myself, he is also the source of a very cool memory I have meeting up with Chief and NitroLiq for Les Paul Monday at NYC's Irridium Jazz Club.
RIP... you will be missed.

He died on my birthday :(

Leo, Les Paul, who's next, Jim?

I can't take all of these people dying.

RIP Les

Exactly, he was an amazing musician, great entertainer, helped bring out the electric guitar, and was at the forefront of multi-tracking.

I cannot even understate how influential he is.

RIP Les Paul. He's now a new member to the greatest band upstairs.
