Had a great time BTW. Got together before the show for a little acoustic jam with a couple of buddys. If there is any acoustic freaks here, this is a pic of my 1954 Gibson cutaway. Light as a feather and tone for days!

Very nice!!! Is that guitar unusual with the sharp cutaway? I dont recall seeing too many like that.
Bet she's got a real delicate, detailed tone.

Its the only one I've seen like it. My buddy has the same guitar roughly the same year but its not a cutaway. He got it for $500 and a case of beer! :shock:
Yeah, it plays beautifully with the richest midrange I've ever heard on an acoustic guitar.

Gorgeous acoustic - I love that particular size. I used to own an all-mahogany Martin in a similar size that was the best acoustic I've ever had. These days I can't afford to have alot of money tied up in acoustic guitars as its not my bread and butter.
