whats the scoop on chokes

100 for plexis
7 for 45's
10's for ?

Ive been using 7 H in my 50 watters.

what do you mean with 100 for plexi?

marshall chokes were 3h 100ohm, there are few exceptions

it does affect screens voltage but not b+. together with the screens filter caps the choke filter away ripple on the screens. lower henries sound raw and dirty. higher henries sound cleaner, smoother and more modern.

I like 3h except the early 100w el34 amps with only 16uf on the screens. in that application I prefer 5h
