Not yet. Ill grab some new strings today and try to get it setup this weekend. Just have to find the time.

its a shame the pups on the evh are only 2 wire because a coil tap on the axis is a fantastic thing.

Speaking of pickups, I was actually thinking of pulling these out and replacing them. Theyre just not my cup of tea, but common sense is telling me to leave the guitar stock. hmmmm what to do.

Is that the middle position of the Axis switch? The tone on mine in that mid position is Vantastic.

Mid position is just like a les paul, both pickups on in parallel.
I managed to spend a few hours on the setup this weekend. Much much better. The 9's were terrible and while they looked fine, they must have been quite old as there were so dull sounding. Re shim the neck and polished the frets and it just about plays itself. Action is nice and low, maybe even too low. EBMM make beautiful necks!!!!!

Still undecided on the pickups. I might live with them for a while and see how it goes.
