Nuno Bettencourt - Is he gay??
This guy told me that Nuno is really gay (not kiddingly)...... Is that true? He also said that Gary Cherone is also gay and that they were a couple.....
eeeeaaahhhh...I just got thay gRoSs feeling go up my spine......
Sorry if this offends anyone.... I thought Nuno was a pretty good player on the first & second Extreme albums. After those two, I though it was all crap.

OK...Nuno's playing is DA SHIT...on ALL Extreme albums IMHO.
And BTW since when was sexual preference a factor in musical ability anyway?
I find it pretty fucked up that people let that get in the way of TRUE musical ability...I mean, I was raised on Judas Priest/Iron Maiden. And when everyone found out that Rob Halford was gay...all those fans that Judas lost all because of that, yet their music STILL kicks ass to this day!
Guys c'mon...I love chicks and great pussy just as much as the next heterosexual dude...but I do understand that some men have a fucked up sense of sexuality. Some of those men happen to be musicians...but why do we hate them for that!? That's just their personal preference...
My take on it is, if their musical ability kicks fuckin' ass, who cares if they like to get fucked in the ass!?

Agreed, but I bet going to Judas priest concert now, would be much different, than like before when I saw them during the sreaming for Vengence tour. Back then their audience was mostly white men, biker, disco sucks type crowd. Now the only biker at these concerts is probably Rob. (Or maybe the Villiage people Biker, if he's in town for a guest appearance)
J/K
Seriously,
The demgraphics of their audience probably has changed due to hetero fan flight - while gaining more gay fans. After the anouncement, they have become darlings of the gay community. Not that there's anything wrong with that, just you better be VERY secure in your manhood to go one of these concerts. Maybe dress down if you don't want to be hit on, and don't yell faggot or you'll probably get the worse ass woop'n of your life.
Live and let live.

Don't ask, don't tell. As long as no dude is hitting on me they can do what they want. I ventur to think that a lot more of our "heroe's" have ventured that way then we care to know. And, I hate to say it but that "gayness" might actually lend itself to being a better muscian look at some of the greats (wheter you like their music or not you can't argue that it's good music)...Freddie Mercury, Elton John, Prince, Melissa Ethridge, Bowie, Jagger,...remember when Pete Towsend cryptically said "I know what it feels like to be a woman....

I have a close friend who has been a huge Preist fan since the 70's. I remember him being shocked when Rob came out, and then going, yeah, I kind of see it now.
He seen them recently and said before the show everyone was like I can't believe Rob is gay. Then he came out and sang and nobody cared anymore.

Don’t get me wrong. In the past, I've had a few close friends admit to me that they were either gay or bi-sexual. Our lead singer in the last band I was in (about 10 years ago) was bi-sexual and is one of the most talented musicians that I've jammed with. I guess I looked at Nuno as a guitar hero (and still is), but now I picture ….....something else…..eeeeaaawwww! Sorry!
One of the things I've noticed about good musicians and great musicians, is that the great ones always have a few loose or missing screws. I really think that being that way contributes to them being able to produce very unique and "artistful" music.
I think I disliked the later Extreme albums due to being tired of Gary Cherones vocals. I guess after a while it sounds like he's just shouting or yelling out the songs. I felt the same way when I first heard the VH album that Gary sang on. That album is my least favorite VH album.

Indeed, the most famous people I've encountered have been the most eccentric by far.
A few exceptions: Dave Mathews, most down to earth cat.
Darius from Hootie, also way chill.
Dan from Anthrax is laid back too. And very passionate about music and tone.
George Clinton, way too cracked out to be uptight.

The way I see it, anything that two* adult** human*** beings choose to do in the privacy**** of their bedroom***** is inevitably going to be unspeakably disgusting, foul, and totally lacking in poise, decorum or simple dignity--so who am I to judge?
*Or more.
**Hopefully.
***Again, hopefully.
****Or not, if one or more of them is freaky like that.
*****Or wherever else they decide to bump uglies.

Unfortunately, those who feel that Man's laws, instead of the good Lord's, will admonish their wickedness, especially the aboninable faggots, feministss and dikes, have another thing coming once the Judgement Day arrives. I myself, a sinner, if I am going to burn, at least I'll have the satisfaction knowing these self-righteous infidels will be ahead of me in line!!!

I'm always curious where the Bible's teachings on loving thy neighbor and loving and forgiving those who trespass against you and your ideals are at times like this. Selective reading I guess?

I think he meant that people who continue to knowingly participate in (and promote) abherrent behaviour do not deserve this respect of "love thy brother". Besides, who's being selective when the bleeding-hearts (yourself) over and over again scream bigot and racist whenever somebody doesn't disagree with them and champions Christian values that they despise.

I wonder if "Guest" here realizes how he just argued against his own point?
This used to be fun. Now we have homophobes, bigots and zealots spoiling it. Maybe a moderator ought to kill this topic before this board becomes a Sargasso Sea of vituperation and sanctimony.
