Finaly pulled the trigger on a 2009 R8!

Ill have it in 2 and a half weeks.

This will be my 1st Gibson Les Paul since 1997.

Man its gonna be a long 1/2 month.

How do you like your 2009 R8?

Plain top, eh? Should be a good sized neck on that guitar. I've been moving towards bigger necks lately myself. Hope it works out for you!

Sweet!! How is the neck... big?? Most R8's seem to have a real nice chunky neck.
IMO, fat neck = fat tone.

Damnit, JIm, I'm a gear historian, not a psychic!

I can't tell you how many times I was "done". Now I just laugh at the implications of ever having EVERY tone you want. There are so many to like. Hope you like your R8.

I just picked one up today 2008 iced tea plain top been sittin in guitar center for awhile on clearance for 2599, pops bought me my first paul in 1986 when I graduated college ended up selling it for drugs they were good drugs though :lol:

Thats a nice guitar, I suddenly have an afinity
for R8's.

My local GC has an Go/Ro from 07 and its beat up
with bad stand damage and they wount budge from
$3200 :shock:

At that price only a complete idiot would buy it.
I guess thats what there hopeing for.
