Just got 4 nos from a guy in hungary on ebay like brand new, never seen the light of day. I love these tubes. Warm sweet and very transparent, gorgeous low end growl.
Had to share

Sub,

I've tried a few diffent ones I got from tubetramp. Brimar Telefunken and RCA. They all seemed to add too much gain and mid. It's all a matter of opinion but the tungsram just made everything so sweet. The rca was similar but the highs were quite aggressive. For sure they were all better than the modern stuff but the tungrams are the only ones that haven't really changed the tone in some way. When i put the standard issue marhsall back in, lifeless. But these babies are so sweet it's unreal, real even with no frequencies really pushed. I play a strat mostly so maybe thats why I like them so much. I've done a couple of gigs with them now and quite a fews guys have noticed. I'm totally sold

Go Hungary!

The last time i found Tungsram and Telefunken in my AC50
I replaced Tungsram --> old (not very old) Ruby tubes  hmmm Each tubes sound good.
Maybe Tungsram better for Marshall :?: I never put Tungsram in my Marshall......... i will try out :D
