Rectifier choices

I wanted to ask everyone their thoughts on rectifier choices for a 50w bass circuit. I see the kit comes with a SS and have read about people putting in a swich to use a tube rectifier I assume this may require a different PT, but I would love to solicit opinions on which Rectifier you may prefer in this circuit.

So let me ask this, does anyone prefer a tube rectifier vs the ss in a 50w bass circuit? Inquiring minds want to know
