Drake 1202-324 PT color code/diagram

Post by nothing_ro » Fri Jul 16, 2010 1:05 am

Hello everybody.. I've bought a '75 Marshall 50W JMP with the PT changed - it has now an Drake 1202-324 from 1995. The amp was bought from US but i live in Europe, it doesn't have a Mains Selector so I have to "rewire" it from 110(120?)v tap to 220v tap. Please help me with the color codes/diagram for this PT.

Here are some pictures:

So after following the wires inside I've reached the conclusion that I have to connect the pink wire from point A to either the orange wire(5) or the yellow one(6) but I don't know witch is for 220.
Also I belive that the blue wire from the primary is for 0v, and the black one for 110(120?)v.

Please help, I'm kind of a noob.
Thank you.

Move the Pink wire from the Black wire (110 /120VAC) to the orange wire (220VAC) and leave the other end of the Pink wire on the Blue wire. The yellow wire is your 240VAC tap
