I don't know if Ted's gone hog hunting down here, but I recently read in Field-n-Stream magazine, that he bought a ranch in Crawford, Texas near GWB's ranch, and that he might get to thin out the over abundance of Deer over running GWB's Ranch.
According to the article, he has a new show, on a satellite Channel where they allow the gutting to be broadcast. Apparently it bothered him that his VH1 show didn't allow this.

He's like a dog, after it gets the taste of blood.
(They're never the same after that.)
Maybe as humans, we have that same insticnt in us that gets unlocked, if we hunt. Maybe that's why I enjoy Fishing?
Ted should have been a butcher, cuz he sure seems to
enjoy turning his kills into portions. A little too much.
But that's part of hunting. If you don't prepare things right,
the meat will taste wild. I had some wild Venison one time, and it didn't bother me. I didn't even notice it was wild until I was done eating it, and was told afterwards.
Tasted Great to me. Too bad they don't farm raise Venison.
I grilled it with black pepper, red pepper, onion powder, garlic powder
and yum. Better than Outback Steakhouse.
I don't hunt, but I love venison steak.

Deliverance was set in the south, Ted would be considered a Michigan Yankee to a southern deliverance type. Not that people from the southSB Monster wrote:Anyone ever seen Deliverance?
I hate guns
are like that. (But there are some, and they make Jeff Foxworthy seem like Ted Kennedy)
If you liked that movie, check out the movie "Wrong Turn"
Then you'll see some real inbred freaks.

Hey, I'm a hunter, swore i wasnt gonna get involved it this!!!
Funny how ppl get a bug up their ass about a guy that lives his life the way he wants to. Feeds his family with what he kills, and knows where the meat comes from. Doesnt kill for the sake of killing, just takes what he, and his fam and friends will use. He also has a huge garden that feeds his family throughout the season, does that piss anybody off too?? The guy lives off the land, and it's a free country.
Funny how "anti-Ted's" out there never mention all the good he does, like his "kamp for Kids", where he gets inner city kids outside to experience fresh air, camping, and the beauty of the outdoors. It's a life changing experience for some of these kids. That's just scratching the surface.
Does anybody mention the fact that he's had the lives of his children (and himself) threatened by members of PETA, and other animal rights groups because he LEGALLY hunts game for the table?? Now there's some whacked individuals.
His radio station was great, I used to listen to him every morning. His spontaneous playing with either an accoustic, or an electric was always phenominal. Much better player than I ever gave him credit for.
Anyway, it's too bad more ppl don't really know what he's all about before they judge him, and jump on the rumor/propaganda bandwagon.

I didn't think that I would get involved in this, but I am.
I like Ted Nugent's music. I also have great respect for anyone who hunts because they need to feed themselves or their family. I don't hunt personally, but I eat meat. I've also heard stories from relatives (who hunt) about seeing people hunt (more like kill) animals ignorantly and not even eat what they killed, just leave it for dead, etc. That I don't agree with, but since Ted has a lot of respect for the land and hunting, his hunting views are okay in my book. Don't know enough about his politics regarding other things though, so I can't say if I agree or disagree w/them. I do know he's a bit extreme.
On the subject of wild boars/hogs...there are or were some in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
