Sounds good and very close to the sounds on Monterey. I think the language barrier was causing the misunderstandings...I am grateful that you are indeed making the effort to speak English-my French is horrible, especially considering that my father was the first person in my entire family to speak English! It sounds like to me that the crackling and the tremolo sound are somehow related - they sound like they're happening at the same timing. I don't think it has to do with the out of tune guitar because you can still hear it when he's going crazy feeding back in the intro.garbeaj wrote:
The thread is about the tremolo-ish sound (and not the crackling sound) and I believe that we all agree that the tremolo-ish sounds exist because the guitar was quite out of tune...
I know what you mean, I think perhaps the internet is part of the problem, IOW only knowing what they are saying, but not how they are saying.Xplorer wrote:he didn't make any valid point, and he wanted to try to have the biggest cock ; )
I DIDN'T ; )
and i don't understand why he doesn't understand ( with all his provocations ) , why indeed, we're here to
for
. For my part, that's why i'm here .
But what do you do, when someone keep not understanding, and doing provocations ? hm ? you simply state your point, like i did, trying to use some other words if he didn't understood the first time. ( 3,4 or five other trys in this case ) , without provocations, and trying to ignore the provocations, at least, trying not to answer it even if it's tempting.
Yeah it sounds dead on to the Monterey tones for sure but the fact that it is cutting out like that is very "bad" electronically! It should be repaired so it doesn't cut out like that but I'm sure the owner probably won't because it does exactly what it did for Jimi!Xplorer wrote:coming from the guy : "That was all part of the freak setup in his amp. No other amp in the world sounds like that one and it can't be duplicated."
SO , i still say that this cracks aren't caused by a fuzz, even if there might have some fuzz between the amp and the guitar.
the guy told me that it sounded fuzzy, even without the fuzz .
hope it's clear now.
