The VH100R Is verbatim a 2203 in "crunch" mode, and a hotrodded 2203 when the switch is in the drive mode, a glimpse of the schematic should show you this. It kills me that people think these amps are not "marshall" sounding, when they are more Marshall, than Marshall's new amps.

Hmmmm strange, I own a gh100l, and a VC50 (the combo version of your amp), and don't have that problem at all, they are both very good sounding to me, with tons of sustain...
