Tube ID help (plus tube score!)

Post by BrianH » Thu Dec 08, 2005 7:52 pm

Bid on an odd 5pc lot of tubes on ebay... seller said it had one GE and one RCA 12AX7 in there. Won them for about 5 bucks, plus some radio tubes.

In the RCA box was this, what brand is it? You can kind of make out an "H" and an "S."

In the GE box was a Blackburn BOA-code short plate I61 Mullard. I managed to rub off most of the ink myself (d'oh). Works and sounds great! What is it, a Mazda relabel?

The first tube I don't know, but your Mullard is produced in January 1960

I've got about 10-12 other Mullard short plates, so this is a nice addition. Hopefully someone can help with the other tube.
