Maybe Dave F could maybe be kind and talk a little bit about the board as I believe he put it together. I bet it has Daves buffer in there somewher, I just know it has to

I mentioned it both in the original post and my reply.

My understanding is Dave is waiting for permission to post some pictures.

I found this - it's older but it does have the Whammy so maybe the 2012 full board is closer to this:

Where does this picture come from?

There is Whammy on the new album but not in the songs on the current set-list. It appears that the Whammy is off the board.

Notes: Crazy red wallpaper, nice furniture ... Ed's house?
Bottom right side, big chunk of Bogner tolex, 4x12?

Dave Friedman's shop, looks like. Here's a blog post from last summer and the origin of this photo, presumably when this was taken:

Seems like Ed's Cafe Wah Amp settings had the volume dimed for that small venue.

Gain, Low, Mid, High, Vol

Channel 1: 3, 10, 10.5, 2, 10
Channel 2: 3, 12, 10.5, 2, 10
Channel 3: 3, 12, 10.5, 1.5, 10
Pres 1,2, & 3: All set to 2

actually those channels are set at about 10:00 if you look closer-very low. You are not seeing the pointers on the knobs right.

I got it off a gearpage thread and havn't checked it.

I had to reduce the photo size to fit within Metroamps 700 pixel limit so the metro photo might not be that clear.

I checked the larger photo and all the volume knobs seem to be at 10 o'clock like you say depending on which end side of the knob is taken to be the pointer.

Cafe Wah is pretty small ... and Ed has two slaves cabs on ... so 10:00 was probably an adequate volume setting for that show.
It will be interesting to compare to Arena settings.

All settings look alot like what i use except i crank the mids to 2-3:00. I use the sd59 with this amp and love it. I see Eds mids are alot less back toward 10:30-I have said it before the Wolfs are very middy. Maybe this is why his are pulled back. Interesting indeed.
