Polystyrene caps. They should be .01 if I'm not mistaken.

Are they axial or radial?

They should be whatever fits best on your pcb. That said, when I did my build, I got my styrene caps from Mouser, and they only had .01 caps in radial.

For some reason I can't get it to work I replaced the B109b Transistors twice, I tipled checked the wiring and measured the halo inductor. :what:

^^ you checked or MEASURED your wiring ? .... if it's not solid core wire ( honestly on pedals i think it's a must ) i strongly advise to do so .... if you did .... well then .... could be anything ....

ps : your wiring looks good at first glance :what:

I checked the wiring conection, and I'm getting good connection. The wie I'm using is PTEF wire 24g. The Pot is a PEC 100K-A, I've used PEC Pots in my second wah and it improved the tone ten times compared to the Dunlup pots.

Are you sure the transistors are installed correctly? With Q1, you will have to cross over the base and collector - the board connections are e c b left to right as seen in your photo. Q2 is e b c top to bottom. The tag on the case denotes the emitter.

If you're certain they're correct, can you post the voltages on each leg?

some more info would help. measure the voltages at all pins of each transistor, check that the board is getting power from the battery, double check the component values you used, wiring looks okay however you may want to simplify the grounding and keep everything at one spot.

what doesn't work exactly? does the pedal pass signal? does it act like a volume pedal? do you just get no signal whatsoever?

O.k. as far as the transistors go, I followed a layout that a friend sent me. The layout has component values and transistor positioning. I'm in Las Vegas right now, so when I get back home I'll post the Layout.

The battery/power is fine. I'll post the Layout on Sunday and take some measurements.

Thanks
