The B+ on my 95' R/I was 475VDC with the stock PT and Svetlana EL34's.

You should be ok, I use a quad of RFTs in my plexi with a B+ 495, that is hight for Siemen el34 it is recommended to use them with a max voltage of 450, but many people had no problem (like me) running them at higher B+..........

I've been running them for at least a year now and they didn't drieft a bit....steady like a rock.........

I'll second that. I've been running an old quad of RFT's in a Super Lead reissue for over a year with 500 volts on the plates. I've never had a problem with them in my hifi Dynaco units that run EL34's much closer to class A.

No problems with the NOS RFT EL34 or the "Siemens" stamped RFT's  up to 530 volts B+, if your power stage is free of RF ocillation.

It's IMO the best power tube still abvailable, just right after the Mullard!

Great sounding, great longevity, stable working, high voltage proof! What more do you await from a power tube?

I've found that the best Tesla's are the ones with the brown bases. I've had problems with the black bases (no, I'm not talking about JJ's). Sound as good as the Seimens to me.
