George, which wire off the new MM OT is the negative feedback wire and where did you hook it up to? Just curious because i'm looking to brightin up the amp just a little in the mid/high's. Thanks--John.

Hi John, the NF wire isn't actually a part of the OT.

It's just a wire (normally purple in Marshalls) that connects to one of the taps of the secondary. Usually the 8 ohm tap with EL-34's. 16 ohm tap with 6550's.

You can try it on any of the taps, or even on the speaker jack. Which makes makes the amount of NF vary proportionately to the impedance setting.

Thanks George, If i attach it to the 4ohm tap,will it possibly brighten up the amp some more in the pres? I'm currently running EH6CA7 powertubes right now.Thanks again--John.
