Dan,
This should help you out as far as Marshall font info goes...I researched this stuff quite a bit last year and a summary of fonts and a zip are included in the post:

If you still need the Helvetica neue typeface, I have that for PC in the various weights.
Pete
P.S. You should've made ampfest.... turned out to be like 65 ppl and near 100 amps
Amp of the day as far as I'm concerned was Mark Huss' 100 Watt Hiwatt clone...un-freaking-believable! We had it running with a couple tubes pulled through my mojave 2 x 12" (G12H/Alnico Blue) cab...so dynamic...you didn't even have to roll off the guitar vol for clean....play something like The Who's "Sparks" lightly and it's crystal clear, smack a heavy chord and it's pure power....but even still it's articulate. Now if George would just offer a DR103 kit!

And just think...you'd be the first and only kid on the block to offer a kit! Here's Mark's tech info site including DIY and BOM, in case you're interested.

I'd like to hear the 50 watt version...was a little worried even with tubes pulled that my speakers were going to fry. The clips on the site don't even do the thing justice. After we ran it through my cab, we popped in the other two tubes and ran it through a vintage marshall 4 x 12" with this guy Aaron (who happens to be in a Who tribute band) playing his SG with P90s...we had a DB meter and did some measurements....the vintage SLP 100 watt head measured 120db at 3 ft...the hiwatt clone was 126db! Thank God we had these in the large shop area. Man, it sounded so unbelievably good....maybe not so much if you're just concerned about lead playing but for overall tone...it was absolute heaven. I thought it sounded a tad better through my cab...maybe I'm biased (har har)...it was a bit muddier through the 4 x 12"...not sure what speakers were in it. With the G12H/alnico blue it had such a great chimey articulation. I started playing "Pinball Wizard" when we first fired it up and it definitely was a head turner...heh.
Anyway..back to topic.
