Re: MR SCARY
Oh , the sauce . That's a skeleton closet , I love to cook so you pick the ten thousand ways to do so and I am gonna come through . I am sending Mr. Scary a pickup that is realy the best I have ever heard to plant in this axe . It shows that anyone can do a random act of kindness , but in this instance .....I came home to some let downs and the story goes like this .. I posted the Mr scary is building guitars stuff and then , THEN , wholly ... Shannon is carving his own scary town awesomeness. I had to admit responsibility , and I love the guy from our six year bond her on the net . See , cool things can happen , its random acts of kindness . But Mr Scary was a close to my heart project and this kid is just killing it with his enthuisiasm ! He deserves the best and here he is hard pressed to play a note . I know he is a great player But here you have THE best Seymour Duncan from the factory in the coolest body and sol . I played thousands of guitars and had a pickup variant with the custom stuff and this pickup is it . So Shannon your screwed . If Nirvana is not attained you have failed . So crazy , but he is not on the lamb . The pickup is the best I have heard in thirty years . Done . Its the bounty the booty deserves . ! You go carve that thing . Plus I have six years into knowing how cool Shannon is . He deserves the BEST . Here it is Bone doctor ! I got flagged with customs shipping stuff going to you so bear with me . Also , the piece has electrical tape , tense wound outside . If you wanna change that let it sit in the sun and pull it off . I was having this thing apart so many times to measure it was cool . Just be mindfull of the small wire wraps when you do so . Remember its a pickup that is the best of sy three hundred standard USA models and kept on a bench and stolen by me when I used it for over 25 years . he he . Hot for ...

Re: MR SCARY
Set up an axe . Shannon you mentioned you have no axess point to adjust the truss rod . Ok , No problem . Here you want to use the right strings and just jack the neck off . If you have a neck clamp . Its not a big deal , your just untenshioning the screws in the neck . Pull it off if you want , but in doing so you relieve tension and reload the right way when adjustments go well . I would fret the first fret and the last and measure three centimeters at the twelfth fret . Or more if you like a big drama sound . I would use metal inserts in the neck with machine screws personally . The mass and the benefit is killer . No shims is the goal on the neck . You want a rock solid contact . Otherwise your gonna have some bullshit work ahead of you to get it right . And that's what we want . I don.t know anymore , Im tired , have to ko . later . CDCS . Oh I forgot you all don't know me . Charleston David Cahsmere Scott II , Turn it up !

Re: MR SCARY
That is awesome! Congrats. On the hard as rock Kramer thing, I still have a Kramer Pacer I bought new back in the day, whatever finish is on it I've never seen -- it's like hard plastic. Rings like a dang bell.
At it awhile, still learnin'

If that original DiMarzio doesn't cut it on that particular build you can try these. It has a skull on it too !

Those PU's are a higher output than the Screaming D. It's 10k but doesn't seem to have much bottom end.JimiJames wrote:Awesome !vanhalen5150 wrote:Stuck in the screaming demon for a test drive. Nice low action.

Re: MR SCARY
Job well done, because all I see is osteoarthritis. I'll bet that guitar screams (with pain)!
